CITIZEN FINGERPRINTING

The Streetsboro Police Department provides  fingerprinting for employment purposes for residents of Streetsboro, or non-residents of Streetsboro who are employed in the City.  The times this service is provided are limited to the following days & times:

 

TUESDAYS:         8:00am - 9:00am

WEDNESDAYS:  4:00pm - 5:00pm

 

No appointment is required for this service, and there is presently no fee for this service. 

 

 

ATTENTION:

Effective June 1, 2006, Ohio BCI is no longer accepting inked fingerprint cards for civilian background checks.  After June 1, 2006, fingerprints may be submitted to Ohio BCI using scanned fingerprints only via WebCheck, an internet/PC based print system.   For a list of locations utilizing WebCheck, click on the following link http://www.webcheck.ag.state.oh.us/webcheckcommunity.htm

 

The Streetsboro Police Department is not presently equipped for WebCheck capabability.  After June 1, 2006, citizens requesting fingerprinting through BCI as part of a civilian background check will be referred to a WebCheck location for that service. 

 

 

JUVENILE FINGERPRINTING:

The Streetsboro Police Department does provide fingerprinting of of juveniles on an as-needed basis.  Often, this service is provided in conjunction with a local business as part of a promtional event (i.e. Home Depot, Kent Credit Union, Walgreens, etc...).   Please contact Officer James Wagner at (330) 626-4976, or by e-mail at jwagner@streetsboropolice.com for further information and availability of this service
